Guidelines
How we pray together
Be kind
- No harassment, scams or requests for money.
- Don't ask for anyone's contact details or push conversations off Pray Openly.
- No pressure to share outcomes. Nobody can promise a particular result.
Who's who
- Hosts are volunteers who welcome people and pray with them. They aren't counselors or emergency responders.
- Moderators review reports. Community owners manage their own community but can't read private host conversations.
- There are no AI participants. Every person you meet here is a real person.
Muting and blocking
- When you mute someone you stop seeing their messages, and they can't reply to your requests.
- In shared public rooms they may still see what you post. Muting can't make public content private.
Privacy
- Public requests are hidden from search engines, but anyone visiting can read and copy them.
- Private requests to hosts are visible only to that room's hosts and moderators.
- Your email is never shown. Private content is kept out of web addresses and email subjects.
- Removing a request deletes it. If it was reported, a short moderation record (action and reason) is kept.
- Deleting your account removes your requests, messages and replies.
- No advertising trackers or session recording.
Adults only, for now
- Pray Openly is for people 18 and older until age-appropriate safeguards are designed.
